Authentic Aloo Methi

A delicious combination of potatoes & fenugreek leaves

Ingredients
  

  • Potatoes boiled and diced : ½ k gm
  • Fenugreek leaves chopped : 1 bunch
  • Coriander leaves chopped : 1 bunch
  • 5 cloves Garlic minced : 4
  • 12 nos Curry leaves : 10
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped : 3
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • 5 tsp Oil : 4

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and fry for a minute.
  • Add minced garlic and fry till golden brown.
  • Add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté.
  • Add chopped fenugreek leaves and sauté for a minute and then add chopped coriander and sauté together for 3-4 minutes.

  • Add turmeric powder and sauté for 1 more minute.
  • Enter Step
  • Add boiled potatoes and salt and mix together well.
  • Enter Step
  • Serve with roti.
