Soak the bread in water for a minute and squeeze out the water.
Boil and mash the potatoes and vegetables along with the soaked bread slices, salt and red chilli powder.

Form into round cutlets.
Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the cutlets till golden brown on both sides.

Cut each burger bun horizontally in two.

Spread a little mayonnaise and mustard sauce on both halves of the bun.

Place an ice lettuce leaf on the lower half and place a vegetable cutlet on top.
Now place a slice of tomato, onion and sliced gherkin.
Cover with the upper half of the bun.
Serve with french fries / potato chips.
