Soak the toor dal for 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan add a bay leaf, panch phoran, red chilli and fry till it crackle.

Add chopped onion and crushed garlic.Stir the onion till translucent.
Now add boiled dal vegetable curry in to it.
Add cumin powder and stir well.
Remove into a bowl garnished with grated coconut and coriander leaves. Serve with rice.
