- Toor dal : ½ cup -
- Red pumpkin : 3 - 4 small
- White pumpkin : 3 - 4 pieces
- French beans : ¼ cup chopped -
- Turmeric powder : ½ tsp -
- Ginger : 1 small piece cut into lengthwise -
- Asafoetida : ¼ tsp -
- Ghee : 2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Panch phoran : 1 tsp -
- Cumin powder : ½ tsp -
- Red chilli : 2 - 3 nos
- Bay leaf : 1 no -
- Onion chopped : 1 small -
- Garlic crushed : 1 tsp -
- Grated coconut : for garnish -
- Coriander leaves : for garnish -
- Water : 4 cup -

- Soak the toor dal for 2 hours.
- cup of water take in to a cooker, add dal, vegetables, salt, turmeric powder, ginger, ghee, asafoetida and leave it until all are cooked.

- Heat oil in a pan add a bay leaf, panch phoran, red chilli and fry till it crackle.

- Now add boiled dal vegetable curry in to it.
- Add cumin powder and stir well.
- Remove into a bowl garnished with grated coconut and coriander leaves. Serve with rice.
