Green chillies : ½ k gm
Potatoes boiled and mashed : 3 nos
Besan / gram flour : 1 cup
Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
Baking soda : ¼ tsp
Freshly chopped coriander leaves : few
Salt : as reqd
Oil : for frying
Instructions
Slit the green chillies lengthwise.
Make a thick batter with the besan / gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and baking soda and keep aside.
Use water to make the batter as required.
Boil and mash the potatoes with salt and add chopped coriander leaves.
Stuff the chillies with the mashed potato and coat with the besan / gram flour batter.

Heat oil and deep fry the bhajis till golden brown in color.
Serve with coriander chutney.
