Rice Flour Doddak - Bhakri

Ingredients
  

  • Rice flour : 2 cups
  • Rava : 1 cup
  • 5 nos Finely chopped Green chillies : 4
  • Grated coconut : 5 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves : few
  • 6 nos Curry leaves : 5
  • Salt : as reqd
  • Water : as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Mix 4 cups rice flour,1 cup rava, 4 - 5 green chillies finely chopped, 5 tsp grated coconut, chopped coriander leaves, 5 - 6 curry leaves, salt to taste with some water to make a thick batter.
  • Enter Step
  • The batter should be soft and easy to spread with your hands.
  • Heat a cast iron griddle and spread a large handful of the batter on the griddle and spread it with wet fingers, to form a round shape.
  • Cover and cook on a slow gas till the edges turn brown and the bottom side is golden brown.
  • When the bottom side is cooked drizzle a few drops of oil on and around the bhakri and flip the side and cook for 3-4 minutes.
