Butter : 100 gm
Powdered sugar : 1 cup
Eggs: 3 nos
Plain Flour : 8 tsp
Baking Powder : ½ tsp
Milk : ½ cup
Nuts/ raisins / tutti fruity/ figs : as reqd (cut into small pieces and mixed with 3 tbsp of plain flour)
Sugar : ½ Cup
Instructions
In a pan melt ½ cup sugar with ¼ cup water and melt completely. Heat on a low flame until it turns brown. Keep aside.
Beat the butter with powdered sugar and then add the eggs one at a time, whipping continuously.
Add milk, and continue whipping.
Add the melted sugar to this and mix with a spoon. Fold in the plain flour and baking powder to this.
Add the dry fruits and nuts to this and fold in lightly. (they must be mixed with plain flour)

Bake in an oiled tray on a low flame for about 30 minutes. Top with icing sugar or sugar powder.
Plum cake is ready.
