In a bowl mix together chicken, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper, corn flour, and egg. Let it marinate for half an hour.
Deep fry the chicken for about 3 minutes. Excess cooking will make the chicken harder.

In a pan, heat oil. Add ginger paste and green chilly.
Add pepper and chilly powders and salt.
After a minute of cooking in low flame, add tomato sauce and garam masala.
After 2-3 minutes, add the water and cook for a minute on medium flame. (Use red food color, if required) .
Add the fried chicken Pieces.
Mix well so that the spices coat nicely.
Add yogurt / curd. Increase flame to high for about 5 - 7 minutes .
Serve Hot.
