Koottu Curry - Kerala Onam Sadhya Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Vegetables (mathanga, kumbalanga etc) : 1 cup
  • Big payar (Red kidney beans) : ½ cup
  • Onion : 1 no
  • Green chilly : 2 nos
  • Curry leaves : 1 spring
  • Chilly powder : 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Cook the vegetables and payar using green chilly, water, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Enter Step
  • Then heat another pan and add oil in it when it gets hot, then add mustard.
  • When it splutters add onion and curry leaves to it and saute it well.
  • When the vegetables gets cooked .
  • Pour the onion batter to it.
  • Stir well and transfer to the serving dish.
  • It will be good with rice and chappathi.
