Marinate the squids with salt and chilly powder. Keep aside for an hour.
In an earthen pot, add a little oil followed with chopped onion, curry leaves , green chilies, garam masala, pepper powder and chicken masala.

When the onion starts browning, add the tomatoes to it.
Mean time, fry the squids with a little oil, on a low flame. (half cook)
Add the fried squids to onion masala. Adjust salt, close and cook for another 10-15 mins on low flame.
