Masala Filled Buns

Tasty treat for all - Buns filled with masala

Ingredients
  

For dough:

  • 4 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp Powdered milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 no Egg
  • 1 tsp Castor/grinded sugar

For Filling:

  • 1 cup Cooked Shredded Chicken / Keema
  • ½ Cup Grated Carrot
  • ½ Cup Cabbage finely chopped
  • 2 nos Onion
  • Ginger A small piece
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • In a deep oiled pan, add onion, cabbage, carrot, ginger and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add shredded chicken and black pepper powder, Cook for 3 more minutes.
  • In a bowl mix together the following ingredients: 4 cups flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. castor sugar, 2 tbsp. milk powder, 1 tbsp. yeast, 4 tbsp. oil and 1 egg,
  • Knead to a medium soft dough with slightly warm water, leave to rise for 1 hour.
  • Make small circles (about 10 nos) and place the filling inside it.
  • Roll out into small bun shapes.
  • Egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds on them and then bake in an oven for 15-20 mins (180 C).
