Heat the brinjal pieces in some oil for about five minutes and then take it out and keep it aside.
Also heat the onion pieces in the same way.
Add the tomato pieces into the heated onion and mix it well.
Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt into the tomato and onion mix and stir this mix till the colour turns into golden.
Add the boiled potatoes and Brinjal into this mix of onion and tomato with masala.
Stir this mix well and allow to boil it for about minutes and if you want fried masala, put off the stove and remove the masala from the stove.
If you want to make gravy masala then add some water (as required) into this mix and allow it to boil for further five minutes time.
This masala can be served with Chappathi, Poori, rice etc.
