Heat oil in a kadai, when hot, add the mustard.
Followed by the
bengal gram.
When it turns golden brown, add the shown ingredients one by one.
Give sometime for the onion to be fried, rest will shrink almost immediately .
In the batter add the jeera powder.
Followed by the fried mixture.
Mix the batter well.
Prepare dosa as usual.
Serve it with any chutney.

The batter used should be sour, like the batter stays good for 3 to 4 days in refrigerator, beyond that the sour taste subsides, by this way, the fried mixture and the sour taste gives a new experience.
Grated carrot can also be added while frying and added to the batter.
