Ingredients
  

  • Potato : 3 nos (chopped)
  • Onion : 1 no (big)
  • Green chillies : 4 nos (slit)
  • Tomato : 2 nos (slices)
  • Ginger : 2 tsp (crushed)
  • Garlic : 3 cloves (crushed)
  • Chilly powder : 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder : 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Coconut : 1 cup (grated)
  • Garam masala : 1 tsp
  • Salt : as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop the potatoes.
  • In a pressure cooker, heat oil. Add garam masala, onion and fry it. Add ginger, garlic, chillies and tomato.
  • Make the mixture smooth. Meanwhile, grind coconut into paste.4) Add turmeric, chilly powder, coriander and salt. 5) Add potato and fry for 2 minutes. 6) Add the coconut paste and mix well.7) Add little water, cover and cook the masala.
  • When done, make it a semi thick masala.9) Naadan potato coconut masala.
