Caramel Custard Pudding

Caramel Custard Pudding, also known simply as caramel pudding or flan, is a timeless dessert that has captivated taste buds around the world.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 3 Tbsp Custard powder
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Milk For mixing custard
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar For Caramelizing

Instructions
 

  • Mix custard powder in 1/4 cup milk.
  • Take a pan and add sugar.
  • Caramelize the sugar.
  • Transfer the caramelized sugar into a bowl and swirl it immediately to cover all the corners. If you wait longer the caramel will start to get harden.
  • Boil the milk by adding sugar, and when the milk starts to boil turn the flame low and pour the custard mix.
  • Mix until everything is well combined. Stir continuously and when it starts to thicken, turn off the flame.
  • Pour in the caramelised bowl.
  • Cool down to room temperature and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Finally, unmould the caramel custard or custard pudding and enjoy.
