Delicious Beef Fry
Beef ularthiyathu, apt curry for rice

- 1/2 kg Beef
- 2 nos Onion sliced
- 2 nos Green chillies minced
- 1 piece Ginger crushed
- 4 cloves Garlic crushed
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Meat Masala optional
- Fennel seeds powder A pinch, Perumjeerakam
- 1 no Cinnamon stick Karugapatta
- 3 nos Cloves Grambu
- 1 no Star aniseed Thakkolam
- 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
- Black pepper Few
- Curry leaves Few
- Salt As reqd
- 2 nos Dry red chillies
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 10 nos Shallots
- Oil As reqd
- Roast fennel, cinnamon, cloves, star aniseed, cardamom and black pepper till the aroma comes. Make it a powder. 
- Marinate beef with all the ingredients and the powders  except oil, shallots, mustard seeds and red chillies for 30 minutes. 
- Cook it with enough water in a pressure cooker until all the water gets evaporated. 
- Heat oil in another pan and splutter mustard seeds, dry red chillies and shallots. Saute well until shallots become golden brown. 
- Add cooked beef to the pan and stir well till beef gets dark colour. 
- Delicious beef fry is ready. Serve hot.
