Ema Datshi | Bhutan National Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tsp Butter
  • 1/2 Of one Onion Sliced
  • 1 No. Tomato Sliced
  • 4 Nos. Green chillies Sliced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Crushed.
  • Salt as reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 Slices Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Hot water.

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pan and add butter. Then add sliced tomato, onion, green chillies and crushed garlic.
  • Give them a quick toss and add salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add hot water and mix well. Add the cheese slices and let it melt.
  • Combine well and turn off the flame immediately.
  • Serve it over Bread or White rice.
