Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 no Egg slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup Molasses
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ginger

Instructions
 

  • First, mix butter and sugar.
  • In another bowl, beat egg and molasses.
  • Sift the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
  • Roll the dough on a lightly floured board to 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Cut out the ginger man shapes.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 mins.
  • After cooling, remove from the tray.
  • Decorate with icing sugar or icing cream.
