Boil green peas and potato along with turmeric powder and salt in sufficient water.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion and saute till light brown.
Add crushed ginger and garlic and green chillies.
Add coriander powder, salt, tomatoes and saute till it turns light red in colour.
Add boiled green peas and potatoes. Mix well.
Add sugar and mix well again.
Transfer the contents to a serving bowl.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
