- For preparing kashmiri mushroom soup, saute onion in oil. 
- Add garlic paste, ginger paste, mushroom, turmeric, chilly powder and garam masala. 
- Add tomato and water. Boil well. 
- Remove from flame and allow to cool. 
- Grind it well. 
- Heat the mixture again. Add sugar, lime juice and salt. 
- Add cornflour  and little water. 
- When done, add butter on top. 
- Add coriander leaves and decorate.
