Easy Apple Pie
A tasty dessert - Easy Apple Pie
- 270 g All purpose flour sieved, Maida
- 1 no Egg white beaten
- 60 g Butter
- 3-4 tsp Water
- 4 tsp Lemon juice
- Salt As reqd
- 4 nos Apple peeled & cored thinly
For preparing easy apple pie, add butter to the maida & rub till the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Add water & knead to a stiff dough.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll out two portions & place on a pie tray after brushing with a little egg white.
Sprinkle sugar & lemon juice on the apple pieces. Roll out the other two portions of dough as well.
Spread the apple mixture onto rolled out portions & cover with the other two portions.
Press the edges firmly & brush with the left over egg white. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
