  • All purpose flour(sieved, Maida) - 270 g
  • Egg white(beaten) - 1 no
  • Butter - 60 g
  • Water - 3-4 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 4 tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Apple(peeled & cored thinly) - 4 nos

Instructions
  1. For preparing easy apple pie, add butter to the maida & rub till the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
  2. Add water & knead to a stiff dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll out two portions & place on a pie tray after brushing with a little egg white.
  4. Sprinkle sugar & lemon juice on the apple pieces. Roll out the other two portions of dough as well.
  5. Spread the apple mixture onto rolled out portions & cover with the other two portions.
  6. Press the edges firmly & brush with the left over egg white. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
