Chicken Pakora Recipe

  • 1/2 kg Chicken boneless strips
  • 1 cup Gram flour Kadala mavu
  • 1 tbsp Rice powder
  • Asafoetida A pinch/optional
  • 1 no Onion
  • 4 nos Green chillies slit
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil For frying
  • 1 cup Curry leaves


  • For preparing chicken pakora, mix chicken with turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala, 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and little salt.
  • Cook chicken in the masala.
  • Mix together gram flour, rice powder, asafoetida, green chillies, curry leaves, onion, 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, salt and little water.
  • Make a smooth paste. Add the cooked chicken and mix well.
  • Take chicken pieces and deep fry it in oil.
  • Chicken pakora is ready. Serve it as a snack.
