Yummy Mushroom Masala

  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 1 piece Ginger chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 no Tomato ground
  • 1 tsp Corn flour mixed in a little milk
  • 3 springs Coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing mushroom masala, wash the sliced mushrooms in luke warm salt water.
  • Cook it in a steamer for 5 minutes.
  • Fry onion, ginger and garlic in oil. Then add chilly powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, pepper powder and coriander powder. Mix well.
  • Add in tomato, mushrooms, salt and corn flour. Mix it well. Allow it to cook for 5 minutes with a closed lid. Remove from the flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Mushroom masala is ready. Serve hot.
