Ingredients
  

For Dosa:

  • 2 cups Raw rice
  • 1 cup Urad dhal Uzhunnu parippu
  • 1/4 cup Cooked rice
  • Fenugreek A pinch, Uluva
  • Salt As reqd

For Masala:

  • 3 nos Potatoes
  • 2 nos Onion
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 3 nos Shallots Kunjulli
  • Mustard seeds Few
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing tasty masala dosa, first soak raw rice, urad dhal and fenugreek seeds for few hours.
  • Grind all these together and make a smooth batter.
  • Grind the cooked rice and then add to the batter and keep it for 6-8 hours.
  • Cook potatoes and onion well with enough salt.
  • Splutter mustard seeds in oil, add dry red chillies, shallots and fry for 2 minutes. Add green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves. Stir continuously.
  • Add the cooked potatoes to it and mix masala well.
  • Make the dosa in a tawa, put some masala into each dosa and roll it.
  • Tasty masala dosa is ready.
