For preparing fish sandwich for kids, first marinate the washed and drained fish fillets with a mixture of lime juice, pepper powder and required salt. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
Grind all the ingredients together for preparing chutney without adding any water: onion, green chilly, garlic, ginger, roasted gram, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, mint leaves, sugar(optional) and required salt.
Steam the marinated fish fillets for 10 minutes.
Chop the fish fillets when it cool.
Rub the chutney mixture on one side of a bread slice and top with chopped fish. Cover with a bread slice.
Repeat same procedure with remaining bread slices.
Fish Sandwich, a nutritional as well a yummy favorite with kids, is ready.
