- Bread - 12 slices
- Fish fillets - 125 g
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lime juice - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
For preparing chutney:
- Onion small - 1 no
- Green chilly - 1 no
- garlic - 3 flakes
- Ginger(A small piece) -
- Roasted gram - 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Sugar(optional) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing fish sandwich for kids, first marinate the washed and drained fish fillets with a mixture of lime juice, pepper powder and required salt. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Grind all the ingredients together for preparing chutney without adding any water: onion, green chilly, garlic, ginger, roasted gram, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, mint leaves, sugar(optional) and required salt.
- Steam the marinated fish fillets for 10 minutes.
- Chop the fish fillets when it cool.
- Rub the chutney mixture on one side of a bread slice and top with chopped fish. Cover with a bread slice.
- Repeat same procedure with remaining bread slices.
- Fish Sandwich, a nutritional as well a yummy favorite with kids, is ready.
