Malabar Eethappazham Pori (date Fritters)
A tea time snack made by stuffing cashew nuts into slit dates and deep fried.

- 200 g Dates
- 50 g Cashew nuts split
For preparing batter:
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Coconut grated
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 400 g All purpose flour Maida
- Oil As reqd for frying
- Salt As reqd
Make a thick batter of egg, coconut, sugar, maida and required salt.
Slit the dates and remove seeds.
Stuff the cashew nuts inside dates.
Dip the dates in this batter and deep fry till golden in color.
Malabar eethappazham pori is ready and enjoy.
