Tuna Pasta-Indian Style

Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet Pasta
  • 1 tin Tinned Tuna in sunflower oil
  • 3 nos Onions big
  • 3 nos Green chillies slit lenghtwise
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 nos Tomato medium
  • Oil As reqd
  • Coriander leaves(chopped)
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil the pasta in simmering water with a bit of salt and oil.
  • :- Make sure pasta is drained when its half done so as for it not to turn soggy.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Saute the finely chopped onions to golden brown. Add the green chillies and saute for few minutes.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilly powder.
  • Fry till the masalas are cooked and a nice aroma comes.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes are done.
  • Open the tuna and drain the oil and flake the tuna chunks.
  • Add it to the mixture and fry well till the tuna cooks well and becomes crisp and brown.
  • Add the pasta and stir well so that all the ingredients are mixed well.
  • Keep on low fire for about 3 - 5 mins.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and a dash of lemon to make it tangy.
  • :- Serve hot.
