Aloo Paratta

Delicious aloo paratta

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ kg Potatoes
  • 2 cups Wheat flour Atta
  • 1 no Onion optional)(chopped
  • ¼ tsp Chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp Fennel seeds Perinjeerakam
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • Ghee for frying

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes and mash them.
  • Mix together wheat flour, mashed potatoes, chilly powder, garam masala powder, chopped onions(optional), fennel seeds, salt and curd.
  • Knead them together along with a little water to form a dough.
  • Make big balls off the dough.
  • Roll them out into thick chappathis.
  • Heat the griddle.
  • Cook it on both sides.
  • When half done, spread 2 tsp of ghee on each side and fry on low fire, till little golden.
  • :- Serve hot with sweet curd or pickle.
