Potato And Cheese Soup

  • 4 nos Potato peeled and cut into cubes, large
  • 1 no Onion finely chopped, small
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • 3 cups Cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp Parsley chopped


  • Heat up a cooker.
  • Put potatoes, onion, salt and water and cook for 5 - 10 mins.
  • Put the mixture in a blender or mash it through a seive.
  • Transfer the soup to a saucepan and add milk and pepper.
  • Place it on fire and cook on a low flame.
  • When it boils, add grated cheese and stir constantly, till the cheese melts.
  • Garnish with parsley.
