Grind together cumin seeds, black pepper, chilly powder, coriander powder and onion.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the chicken, masala, salt and curry leaves along with some water.
Let the chicken cook for 15 minutes.
Grind the coconut to a fine paste with water.
After the chicken is 3/4th cooked, add the coconut paste.
Keep on low flame for another 10 min.
