Vegetable Rice Flour Roti

  • 2 cups Rice flour Ari podi
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup Boiled green peas
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Coriander leaves As reqd, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • Aluminium foil As reqd


  • Take a large bowl and put all the above ingredients into it and mix them well.
  • Add the reqd quantity of water and knead the mixture together to form a smooth and stiff dough.
  • Make small balls off this dough.
  • Take an aluminum foil greased with 1/2 tsp of oil and flatten a ball on the foil to get the shape of roti with wet hand (this will avoid the dough sticking to your hand).
  • Pre-heat a non-stick pan on the stove with 1 tsp. of Oil.
  • Now place the aluminum foil on the pan with the dough on the pan surface and the foil facing upwards.
  • Gently peel off the foil and let the roti to cook till it becomes light brown on both sides.
  • Repeat the same for the rest.
  • :- Serve hot with butter on it.
