Take a thick bottomed pan and add 1/2 cup sugar+3 tbsp water. Let the sugar dissolve in this water.
Stir occasionally and let the sugar caramelize, colour turning to golden brown. Then add 3/4 cup water and bring it to boil.
Now add crushed dates and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.Turn off the flame and keep it aside for cooling down.
Preheat a large pot or old pressure cooker for 5 minutes on medium flame. Place a ring stand in the center of the cooker for separation. Meanwhile powder the remaining sugar by adding clove.
Take a mixie jar, blend eggs and powdered sugar for 30 seconds. Then pour oil and blend for 5 seconds.
Pour the egg mix into the caramel date mix. Combine it well with a spoon.
Add the flour mix little by little and mix by combining using the cut and fold method.
Add some crushed almond nuts and mix well.
Transfer the batter to the greased cake tin. Pat the tray twice to remove the air incorporated into the batter. Top with more almonds to make it more attractive. Now slowly place the cake tin in the preheated cooker and close the lid. Heat for 30 minutes in medium flame and 20-25 minutes in low flame.
Check if cake is baked with a cake tester or a toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean that indicates the cake is baked properly. Remove and cool completely. Finally, serve the dates cake and store in an airtight container.
