  • 2 Cups Rava/Sooji Roasted or normal
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped onion
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Capsicum
  • 3 Tsp. Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped carrot
  • As required Cheese Thin Slices
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1/4 Tsp Eno Powder Only if required (optional)
  • 1 Tsp Red chilli flakes
  • To Taste Salt
  • As required Ghee
  • 4 Tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Sweet corn

  • Take Rava (Sooji) in a Bowl/Vessel. Add curd, some salt and about 1/2 cup of water and stir it well.
  • Add sweet corn, chopped onion, carrot, green chilli, coriander leaves and red chilli flakes.
  • Mix everything together (add more water and salt if required) and make a batter and keep it aside for about ten minutes. Before cooking the toast, add eno powder also along with some water and stir it further.
  • Heat a frying pan and apply some ghee with a brush/cotton. Spread about 1/2 cup of the batter on the hot pan. Then spread the Cheese slices on top of the batter (as shown in the picture).
  • Again apply some more batter on top of the Cheese slices and spread it properly.
  • Cover the pan with a plate and cook one side of the batter properly. When one side of the batter is cooked properly, turn the other side and cook that side also in medium flame. (If you want the toast more crispy, cook it accordingly). This toast can be made by using an electric toaster also.
  • Village Style Rava Toast is ready. Serve the toast with Sauce/Green Chutney.
