Rava Pathiri | Semolina Pathiri

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Rava
  • 1 Cup Coconut
  • 4 Nos. Shallots
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
  • Grind coconut, cumin seeds and shallots by adding little water to make a smooth paste.
  • Pour this into semolina. Add salt and little by little water to make a smooth batter like dosa batter. You can blend the whole mixture for a minute in a mixer for best results, for a smooth flowing batter. Do not make the batter too watery.
  • Heat a pan and pour a ladleful of batter to the center of the pan. Begin to spread the batter in sweeping circular motions to form a pancake. Cover the top and cook it it medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
  • The delicious pathiri is ready now. You can have it with any veg or Non.veg Curries.
