Tapioca With Sauteed Onions
Tapioca with Sautéed Onions is a different style of dish preared with tapioca and onions. This is a perfect side dish for, rotis, chappathis even with rice. This is a simple curry where in the boiled tapioca is sauted with spices and onions.
¼ kg Tapioca 2 onions finely sliced ½ tsp Mustard seeds 2-3 whole red chilies 2-3 tbsp Coconut oil Salt
Remove the tapioca skin and cut into thin long slices
Boil in a pan with water for 15 minutes and drain off the water.
Heat coconut oil in a kadai and when the coconut oil is hot add the mustard seeds.
When it has spluttered and the whole red chilies cut into pieces.
Add the sliced onions and sauté till they turn pink in color.
Now add the par boiled tapioca and ½ cup water and salt.
Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes till the water has dried up.
The Tapioca with Sautéed Onions is ready to serve.
Tapioca with Sautéed Onions can be served with roti or along with rice and dal/curry as an accompaniment.
