Remove the green leaves from the cauliflower, keeping the white portion intact.
Boil some water with 1/2 tsp of salt.
Plunge the cauliflower into the boiling water and cook for 2 - 3 mins.
:- Care should be taken to see that it does not become too soft.
Crush shelled peas and ginger.
Cut onion into small pieces.
Heat 1 spoon oil in a pan or a kadai.
Saute onion.
Add ginger and peas and cook on a very low fire for 5 mins.
Stuff this mixture between the sprigs of the cauliflower from underneath.
Make a very thick batter of coating consistency with 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup water.
Add a pinch of chilly powder and salt to taste.
Coat the stuffed cauliflower with this and cover with bread crumbs.
Deep fry until golden brown.
:- A wide kadai must be used for frying.
:- Alternately, it may be coated with egg white and bread crumbs and fried.
:- Minced meat may be used instead of peas.
