  • Remove the green leaves from the cauliflower, keeping the white portion intact.
  • Boil some water with 1/2 tsp of salt.
  • Plunge the cauliflower into the boiling water and cook for 2 - 3 mins.
  • :- Care should be taken to see that it does not become too soft.
  • Crush shelled peas and ginger.
  • Cut onion into small pieces.
  • Heat 1 spoon oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Saute onion.
  • Add ginger and peas and cook on a very low fire for 5 mins.
  • Stuff this mixture between the sprigs of the cauliflower from underneath.
  • Make a very thick batter of coating consistency with 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup water.
  • Add a pinch of chilly powder and salt to taste.
  • Coat the stuffed cauliflower with this and cover with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
  • :- A wide kadai must be used for frying.
  • :- Alternately, it may be coated with egg white and bread crumbs and fried.
  • :- Minced meat may be used instead of peas.
