  • Roast the dal until it gives off the fried smell.
  • Roast the rice also until brown.
  • Grind them to a fine powder.
  • Powder jaggery too.
  • Mix in a flat dish and pour boiling ghee over it.
  • Mix well again.
  • When it is still hot, shape into small lime sized balls.
