Oats Kheer-Oats Payasam

Oats Kheer-Oats is a delicious hkeer recipe with 3 ingredients.When you crave for something sweet in lunch and have only little time to spend in kitchen then this awesome oats kheer can fill up the gap.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 5 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 10 Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt as required

Instructions
 

  • Add the whole oats in a blender.
  • Crush it for 2 seconds
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add Cashew nuts and raisins.saute it for few seconds and convert it into a plate
  • In the same pan add the crushed oats and saute for 5 minutes in medium flame.
  • Pour milk,jaggery and a pinch of salt, mix well.
  • Simmer oats kheer for 4-5 minutes on a low flame,till the oats soften.
  • Add roasted Cashew and raisins.do not boil the oats kheer too much else it will become a thick kheer.when the oats kheer cools down it will thicken more.
  • Serve it warm or chilled...Enjoy...
