1 cup Raw rice 3 tbsp All purpose flour 3/4 cup Sugar 1 tsp Black cumin seed Salt pinch Oil for frying
Wash and soak the rice for 4 to 6 hours. Then drain and add it to a mixer grinder.
Add sugar,a pinch of salt and water as required.Grind the rice coarsely .
Convert it to a bowl and add all-purpose flour,and make a smooth batter
Add black cumin seed and keep the batter for 6-8 hours for fermentation.The batter should be a smooth flowing consistency. Not too thick or thin.
Pour 2-3 tbsp batter in the Appakara, Keep turning the Appam frequently until cooked.
Make One side White colour and the other side Brown
Serve it Warm
