Fish Loaf (Pain- Terrine DeßPoisson)

  • 2 nos Tomatoes medium
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Fresh basil leaves few sprigs
  • olive oil As reqd
  • 800 g Fish fillet hamour, salmon, cod etc.
  • 3 nos Eggs
  • Salt As reqd
  • Pepper As reqd


  • Preheat the oven to 170c.
  • Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces.
  • Mince the garlic and basil leaves.
  • Sauteß garlic and tomatoes in olive oil, till well cooked.
  • Cut fish fillets into small pieces. Add fish to beaten eggs and tomato mix.
  • Season with Basil, salt and pepper. Then mix.
  • Transfer to a greased loaf pan and bake at 170 degrees C for 30-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. ß Tips:- 1)Serve with homemade mayonnaise or tomato puree.
