Simple Tomato Pickle

Tomato pickle recipe, a simple, instant, tasty and best tomato pachadi Andhra style preparation. .Dry roast methi seeds and cumin seeds, until you begin to smell good. Cook tomatoes in the same pan with salt added. Cover and cook until the tomatoes mash up well to soft textute. Add chili powder, turmeric and ginger garlic paste to it. Mix well and add the seasoning that we set aside. Mix and cook until the oil separates.The tomato pickle goes very well with rice,idli and dosa.

Ingredients
  

  • tomatoes 1 kg
  • ginger garlic paste 2 sp
  • turmeric 1/4 sp
  • salt to taste
  • red chili powder 4 sp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 sp
  • fenu greek 1/2 sp

Instructions
 

  • heat oil in a pan add chopped tomatoes
  • add ginger garlic paste, turmeric and salt to it.
  • cover and cook untill the tomatoes mash up
  • add this powder to the gravy
  • season oil with mustard, curry leaf and red chili and add to the pickle and serve.
