Daba Style Gobi Paratha

One very popular version of Gobi paratha is dhaba style Gobi paratha recipe. Dhaba food is usually very rustic and filling. It tastes delicious with spicy Gobi filling. Dhaba style parathas are more thick, buttery and crispy. The filling is also somewhat spicy and tangy.

Ingredients
  

For Dough:

  • Wheat 1 cup
  • water as required
  • salt to taste

for stuffing:

  • Cauliflower 1 cup
  • onion 1 no.
  • capsicum 1 no.
  • green chili 1 no.
  • garlic 3 no.
  • red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • punjabi garam masala 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 4 tsp
  • ghee 2 tsp
  • coriander leaves 2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • prepare dough from wheat, salt and water
  • finely chop the onion, capsicum, garlic, green chili and gobi
  • in a pan heat the oil and saute the garlic and onion for 3 mins
  • add green chili and capsicum and mix well
  • add chopped gobi and mix it
  • add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, punjabi garam masala and mix well
  • allow to cook until the gobi get cooked
  • from a dough take two balls and roll it separately
  • stuff the gobi masala
  • cover with other dough roll
  • press all the corner and roll it in thick
  • heat the tawa and cook the paratha by applying ghee both the side
  • now daba style gobi paratha is ready to serve
