Bread Egg Roll

Egg roll is a famous snack from the streets of many India cities especially Kolkata. usuall we used to bake the bread egg roll, but this time i fried the bread egg roll.

  • 2 nos Egg
  • 4 nos Bread
  • 1 nos Onion
  • 1 nos Tomato
  • 1 small piece Ginger
  • 3 nos garlic
  • 1 nos Green chili
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Maida
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • Oil to fry


  • chop the onion, tomato and green chili
  • heat the oil in the pan and temper the garlic and ginger
  • add onion, and saute it for 2 minutes
  • add tomato and green chili and mix it
  • add red chili powder, garam masala. turmeric powder and salt and mix it
  • add 1 glass of water and allow to cook for 5 minutes
  • add egg and mix well
  • cut the corner in the bread and also divide into two pieces and dip in the water
  • stuff the egg masala
  • roll it
  • mix maida, corn flour and rice flour in the bowl and dust the egg roll
  • heat the oil in the pan and fry it
  • now bread egg roll is ready, serve with ketchup
