Easy Tomato Rasam

Rasam is good for health.it will cure cold and good for stomach.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tomato
  • 5 Garlic
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 5 Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Tamarind paste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Red chilli
  • 5 Curry leaves
  • 5 Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

Instructions
 

  • Boil 1 cup of water and add chopped tomatoes and tamarind paste, boil for 2 minutes.
  • In another vessel add oil and mustard when it splutters add red chilli and curry leaves, Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Grind garlic, coriander leaves, pepper and cumin seeds in mixer.
  • Then add this ground mix to the vessel sauté for a minute.
  • Add 1 cup water to this and boil for 2 minutes. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and asafoetida. Boil for 2 minutes.
  • Add salt and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Now rasam is ready to serve with hot rice.
