It is a tasty, traditional breakfast dish in south india. The kids will like the noodle like texture of this upma.
- -1 cup Roasted vermicelli
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 6 Curry leaf
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 Green chilli
Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard when mustard splutters add urad dal fry them till they get golden brown colour.
Add onions,curry leaves i and green chilly saute for 2 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water and salt to this and let the mixture come to boil.
Low the flame and add roasted vermicelli stir and cook vermicelli till it becomes soft and all the water is absorbed.
Keep on stiring in between.When vermicelli is fully cooked and water is fully absorbed switch off the fire.
Now vermicelli is ready to serve.
