- For preparing the spicy dish, first boil water in a pan. 
- Add required salt. 
- Pour the boiling water into the rice flour. Keep stirring continuously to avoid lumps. 
- Let the mixture thicken. 
- Allow the mixture to cool a bit. 
- The mixture should be smooth. 
- Pluck out small balls. 
- Roll with your palm. 
- :- Apply a little oil on your hands while doing so. 
- Steam the rice balls in a steamer for five minutes or until done. Apply a little oil on the steamer plates inside so that the dough will not stick to the bottom. 
- Allow it to cool. 
- Heat oil in a pan. 
- Add mustard seeds, red chillies, a pinch of hing and curry leaves. You can adjust the spiciness of the dish as per requirement. 
- Add the rice balls and stir. 
- :- Serve the Spicy Ammini Kozhukattai hot. Enjoy the snack with a cup of hot tea.
