- yellow pumpkin                  1 cup
 - small onion                         15 no.
 - green chili                            1 no.
 - curry leaves                         6 no.
 - crystal salt                           to taste
 - sambhar powder                   1 tsp
 - oil                                          3 tsp
 - urad dal                                 1/2 tsp
 - mustard                                 1 tsp
 - bengal gram                          1/2 tsp
 - coriander leaves                   to garnish
 
 
peel the skin and chop the yellow pumkin
 heat the oil in the pan and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
 add chopped onion, green chili and curry leaves and saute it
 add yellow pumpkin and mix well
 add crystal salt and mix well
 add sambhar powder and mix well
 add 1 glass of water and allow to cook until the water get dry in medium flame
 garnish with coriander leaves, yellow pumpkin poriyal is ready
